J. B. Finch, Jr. Mason Age 51, passed away June 17, 2009. He was born December 21, 1957 in Mason, Michigan the son of J. B., Sr. and Agnes (Curtis) Finch.
J. B. was employed by Bharat Forge America (formerly Lansing Drop Forge) for over 30 years. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, and snowmobiling and riding his motorcycle, but most of all, he loved spending time with his grandsons. He was a proud member of UAW Local 724, Unit 13.
Surviving are: his loving wife of 33 years, Amy; children, Jamye (Dominic) Donofrio of Allen Park, MI and Kory (Brandy) Finch of Onondaga, MI; grandsons, Griffin and Gavin Finch, and Antonio and Drake Donofrio; siblings, Dexter Finch (Christine Hawkins), Sherry Finch, James Finch, Agnes Strawn, Floyd (Sue) Finch, and Mae (Rod) Stewart; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Einard and Dorna Christenson; sisters-in-law, Robbyn (Craig) Coulon, Terri Janson (Richard Vincent), and Gail (Bill) Herron; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Anthony Finch; and brother-in-law, Larry Strawn. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
He graduated from Mason High School in Mason, Michigan in 1977.
