Charlotte C. Wilson, 75, of 4208 34th Avenue Drive West, Bradenton, Fla., a native of Ogdensburg, died Saturday at the Mediplex Rehabilitation Hospital, Bradenton.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Episcopal Church with the Rev. Kirk Stathers, interim rector, officiating. Burial will be in Foxwood Memorial Park.
Surviving are a son, four daughters, 11 grandchildren; a sister, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Two sisters, Bertha Jesmer and Elizabeth Haley, and a brother, Robert "Dixie" Walker, died before her.
Born on April 27, 1919, in Ogdensburg, a daughter of George Ernest and Nettie Wicks Walker, she attended Ogdensburg schools.
She married Walter B. Wilson July 23, 1941. The couple lived in several cities in the state before moving to Ogdensburg in the 1960s, where Mr. Wilson was an immigration inspector. The marriage ended in divorce.
She moved to Bradenton in 1983, and entered a nursing home in Florida in December 1993. She was admitted to the Mediplex Rehabilitation Hospital, Bradenton, in February 1994.
Mrs. Wilson enjoyed traveling to see her children and bowling.
She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church and the Maple City Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member and past president of the Ogdensburg American Legion Auxiliary and a member of the World War I auxiliary of the legion.
