MARGARET A. HARRIS

FAIRBANKS - Margaret A. Harris, 83, of Fairbanks died at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, 1994, in Miller's Merry Manor at Sullivan. She was employed by Hughes Cafe.

She was born June 9, 1911, in Wilkin County, Minn., to Frank Holecek and Mary Barina Holecek. Her husband, Paul Harris, died in 1972.

Survivors include one son, Marvin Harris of Farmersburg; five daughters, Rosemary Fuson of Riley, Marjorie Thomas of Fort Wayne; Cecelia Barbee of Fairbanks, Carol Jean Jenkins of Farmersburg and Lois Whitkanack of Prairie Creek; one sister, Minnie Bjorklund of Breckenridge, Minn.; one brother, Bernard Harris of Breckenridge; 17 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by nine sisters and brothers; and one grandson.

She attended St. Mary Catholic Church at Sullivan.

Services are 1 p.m. Friday in DeBaun Springhill Chapel at Terre Haute, with the Rev. Kenneth Graehler officiating. Burial is in Pogue Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
