Services Held for Reuben Bartley
Funeral services for Bartley were held Monday morning at 10:30 at the Kuelbs & Braun Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Max Wills officiated. During the services, John Simpson sang accompanied by Clarence Schopp. interment took place In the Cashmere cemetery with the following serving as bearers: John Wall, Harry Mellick, Cleveland Richmond, Frank Clarence Schopp Sr and Si Jones. Mr. Bartley was born in Butler, Pa., and moved to Oklahoma when a small boy growing to later manhood in Oklahoma. He later moved to Montana and came to Washington in 1912 settling at Quincy where he farmed until 1942. He then moved to Cashmere and this has been his home since. Mr Hartley is survived by two brothers in Oklahoma and three sisters. A sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Leyerly of Dove Creek, Colo., and a niece and nephew were here for the funeral services.
