Louise M. Rymer, 86, United Helpers Nursing Home, formerly of Monkey Hill Road, died Tuesday in the intensive care unit at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center.
Mrs. Rymer worked for Acco International for 20 years, retiring in 1976. She also worked at Banner Laundry and Cleveland Container and assisted her husband in the operation of their farm.
Born Aug. 27, 1914, in Ogdensburg, daughter of William and Julia Decaire Bushey, she attended Ogdensburg schools.
She married Leland J. Rymer on Feb. 27, 1937, at St. Mary's Cathedral. The couple lived in Ogdensburg after their marriage. In 1939, they moved to Monkey Hill Road, where they operated a dairy farm. Mr. Rymer died Feb. 2, 1992.
Surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Four brothers, William, Andy, James and Thomas Bushey, died before her.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Foxwood Memorial Park with Monsignor Harry K. Snow, rector of St. Mary's Cathedral, officiating. Entombment will follow at Foxwood Memorial Park.
