The funeral for Audrey G. Richards, 77, of 111 Pray Road, will be at a later date at Foxwood Memorial Park with the Rev. F. James Shurtleff officiating.

Mrs. Richards was pronounced dead Sunday at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center after suffering injuries in a motor vehicle accident in Lisbon.

Mrs. Richards worked at Cleveland Container Corp., St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center and Newell Manufacturing as a secretary for several years.

Born Sept. 2, 1929, in Ogdensburg, a daughter of Joseph and Marion Papineau Lundy, she graduated in 1948 from Ogdensburg Free Academy and in 1950 from the Effie Lou Wallace Business School.

She married Leon Richards on Oct. 26, 1957, at Notre Dame Church. The couple was due to celebrate their 50th anniversary in October.

Mrs. Richards was an active member of Notre Dame parish and a past member of the Home Bureau, the St. Lawrence Archery Club and the St. Lawrence Valley Boating & Racing Association.

She enjoyed collecting antiques, cooking, reading and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter.

Surviving besides her husband are two sons and a daughter-in-law, two sisters and a brother-in-law, a granddaughter and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Two brothers, Chester and George Lundy, and a brother-in-law, Elmer Hulburt, died before her.
