Nathan W. Harmon Dies at Hospital

A retired farmer, Nathan W. Harmon, 65, Rulo, died at 10:45 o'clock Saturday evening, Feb. 16, 1952, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help hospital. He had been in failing health for three years.

Mr. Harmon was born Mar. 19, 1886, at Craig, Mo. When he was a small boy he came to Richardson county and had since lived here.

Oct. 16, 1916, he was united in marriage at Falls City to Miss Mary Cochran.

Besides his widow, Mr. Harmon is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Virgil Sweet, Parkdale, Ore., Mrs. Lester Weir, Savannah, Mo., Mrs. Wilbur Lock and Mrs. Wm. Simmonds, both of Rulo, and Miss Jean Harmon, of the home and a son, Tom Harmon, Falls City; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Frakes, Omaha, and Mrs. Marie Brooks, Lincoln. There are six grandchildren. A son of Mr. Harmon, Paul Harmon, died in 1945.

The body of Mr. Harmon is at the Dorr-Philpo funeral home where funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in charge of Rev. Harold M. Bryant. Burial will be in the Rulo cemetery.
