Clifford O. Rehpohl, 90, a longtime resident of Wenatchee, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1998, at his home.

He was born Oct. 2, 1907, to William and Catherine (Behlers) Rehpohl at Hitchcock, S.D. where he was raised and educated.

Following his schooling he worked in a meat packing plant.

Mr. Rehpohl married Lila Rehpohl in S.D. and they had two children.

He moved to Minn. and worked in a shipyard. In the 1940's he moved to the Wenatchee area where he has since lived.

Clifford married Viva Munch on Oct. 20, 1962, at Wenatchee.

He worked as a builder until he retired because of a work-related injury.

Mr. Rehpohl was a charter member of the William Jett Masonic Lodge and a member of the carpenter's union.

Survivors include his wife of the home; one daughter, Donna (Harry) Sanford of Omak; one son, Robert (Charlotte) Rehpohl of Hartwell, Ga.; one stepson, Conard (Tricia) Munch, and one stepdaughter, Dianne (Chet) Slack all of Wenatchee; one brother, Vern (Mildred) Rehpohl of Long Beach, Calif.; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
