WALTER TALBERT FUNERAL FRIDAY AT GARDNER'S

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 8, at 2 p.m. in Gardner's Funeral Home in White Salmon for Walter Isaac Talbert, of White Salmon. Burial will be in the White Salmon Cemetery.
Mr. Albert passed away at Skyline Hospital on August 5 after a two week's illness. He was born in Goldendale, Washington to Thomas and Nellie Talbert on Nov. 18, 1886. The family moved to the Cleveland, Washington area when he was two years old, where they lived until 1910, when they came to White Salmon. He was a cement mason and carpenter by trade.
Survivors include his wife, Lelia, of White Salmon; four daughters, Dorothy Young, who is now in Korea with her husband; Lois Barger, Portland; Elaine Snyder, Seattle; Janice Spring, White Salmon; one son, Earl E. Talbert of Missoula, Montana; a brother, Harry Talbert of Husum; 21 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Two sisters preceded him and death. Another daughter, Blanche Sager, and a grandson, Jerry Lee Sager, were drowned in 1950.
