Mrs. Blondell died Thursday, March 11, 1999, at Trinity Medical Center, West Campus, Rock Island.
She was born March 5, 1924, in Sikeston, Mo., the daughter of Walter Lee Kirby and Hazel Marie Williams Kirby. She married August "Taffy" Blondell in 1952 in Florida. He died April 25, 1985.
She had been a waitress at O'Melia's Supper Club, Rock Island.
She loved her dogs and enjoyed people.
Survivors include daughters, Jerrie Ann Eastman, Rock Island, and Sharon Boughan, Bettendorf, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Thelma Fielding, in March 1995; and a brother, Bill Kirby, in May 1995.
