Paul E. Mart, 28, Brasie Corners, was en route to Watertown for his first day on a new job Tuesday morning when he and his wife, Julie A. Mart, were killed in a head-on collision in the town of Clayton.
Joint services for the couple will begin with a prayer service at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at McLellan Funeral Home, Ogdensburg, followed by a 10 a.m. funeral at Foxwood Memorial Park chapel, Ogdensburg, with the Rev. Joel Bennett of Ogdensburg Wesleyan Church officiating. Entombment will be in Foxwood Memorial Park Mausoleum.
The couple were married Feb. 14, 1994, in Ogdensburg Wesleyan Church, with the Rev. Bernard Fortune officiating.
Mr. Mart worked at ABF Freight Systems, Watertown, and formerly worked at Creedence Corp., Gouverneur, and at CompAS, Ogdensburg.
Born Oct. 23, 1969, in Ogdensburg, son of John E. and Linda Lee Burns Mart , he graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy and attended Canton College of Technology.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and motorcycle riding.
Surviving Mr. Mart are his parents, Ogdensburg; a sister, and two brothers.
Donations may be made to the Ogdensburg Volunteer Rescue Squad.
