Lilly Corene Davidson, daughter of John Hilory Davidson & Mary M. "Maggie", both of Alabama. Siblings were: brother Moses, sister Gaynell, brothers Joseph Astor & Willard W., sister Mary Ruth "Maggie" & brother Hilory H., all born over in Macedonia, Escambia, AL, along with Corene herself. Two more sisters, Lora & Clydia, were the ones born in Hart, Covington, AL. Sister Lora is noted in Corene's obituary as still surviving her. She's the only sibling mentioned in it.

Below, the obituary states of Corene born in Covington county, but her parents & family were in Macedonia in 1910 through 1920 and only moved to Hart, Covington, AL sometimes after that but before 1930. In 1930, in the census, Corene & husband Hanford and young son John Hanford, were in Hart, living next door to her parents & siblings. Corene's husband, Hanford, was also from Macedonia, thus they had grown up together. In 1940, Corene & Hanford and their children, John, Lillian & Mildred, were back in Macedonia. Hanford's parents, Malachi & Nannie were still living and residing in Macedonia. Her parents were still back in Hart.

Corene divorced Hanford, or he of her, whichever, sometime after 1940. In August 1959, she married James L. Kennedy in Covington, AL. James died 19 Aug 1971, and Corene then remarried her first husband Hanford Green, one month later, on 19 Sep 1971 in Okaloosa.
