Lonnie, 74, 12630 Oswalt-Good Road, Union City, died at Franciscan Medical Center, following an illness of three months.

He was a son to Nathan and Sylvia (Cain) Coblentz. He had lived his entire life in Darke County. On Nov 29, 1934, he married Irene Walters, who survived him.

Also surviving were two sons, Dick, Greenville, and Jack, Union City; a duaghter, Dorothy Teegarden, Ft. Wayne; one brother, Wayne, Greenville; one sister, Marceille (Paul)Hyland, Dayton; five grandsons and one great grandson.

Deceased are four brothers, Raymond, Robert, Floyd, and Glen; and a sister, Mae Rhoades.

He was formerly employed by the Excello Corp., Greenville, for 17 years and had been a Pinkerton Guard at the Union City Body Co. until June, 1986. He was a member of the Pleasant Valley Church of the Brethren, north of Union City, and had served as secretary-treasurer there for a number of years. He was member of the United Ostomy Club, Greenville.

Services were at the Miller Funeral Home, Greenville, with Rev. Harold Freeman officiating.
