Andrew Sterling married on 18 Dec 1773 Hannah Boyce, daughter of Francis and Hannah ( ) Buys (NJ to Pa). Their known children are:
Hannah born 4 Sep 1775; NJ; Leah 11 28 1776; Mary 16 Oct 1780 w/o Stephen Boyce; John 14 Mar 1783 PA, h/o Catherine Knife; Cynthia 30 Dec 1785 w/o Abraham Halfhill; Augustus 29 Jul 1792 (unmarried buried on the farm); Andrew 7 Sep 1794 h/o (1)Hannah Hess (2) Elizabeth Cross; and Elizabeth STERLING. Elizabeth was born 26 Dec 1796-died 28 Feb 1823 and was the wife of David Honeyman

Suggested edit: There's something really unusual about this one. I know the image clearly says this man died at 119 years old, however there are no newspaper articles (which would have made worldwide news) and it makes very little sense he would have married for the first time in his 70's or enlisted in the military for the first time in his 70's. It's much more likely he was in his early 20's for both (or born in about 1757)

I can't help wondering if the older stone read something along the lines of 69 years and X days, not 119 years. It's very damaged and worn with age.

There was a family history book " The Sterling Genealogy : volume 2" that published the birth year 1705 in the past 30 years (probably around the same time the large tombstone was erected).
