CENTERTOWN - Mrs. Georgie Carson Bishop, 73, died at 7:15 p.m. Friday after a long illness. She is survived by her husband, Adam Helfrich; three daughters, Mrs. Alney Ashby of Centertown, Mrs. John Weber of Jerseyville, Ill., Mrs. Byron Stroud of Owensboro; five sons, Ray C. and Charles, both of Henderson, Guy H. of Centertown, Ivan G. of Orange, Tex as, Drexel of Greenville; 15 grand children and three great-grand' children. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. (CST) Sunday at the Birkhead.
Funeral Home in Hartford, with the Rev. William Holiday, pastor of Centertown Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Carson Cemetery near Hartford. The body is at the funeral home.
