George Ander Jackson Price was the son of George Washington Price and Parilee "Palley" O. Honeycutt. George married Bessie Mae Satcher 25 Sep 1894 in Lauderdale County, Mississippi. They had 7 children to there union.

George A. J. Price was ambushed at his farm on Toomsuba creek, shot and killed by a man with whom he had an argument earlier in the day.
A manhunt ensued. Jake Witherspoon who was cutting hay witnessed the shooting and ran to Toomsuba for help. The assassins brother Dock Nelson was taken into custody for questioning. The assassin, Cleveland Nelson, a 20 yr. old man and resident of Toomsuba was captured Wednesday, October 22, 1930, at Salto about 20 miles from Mobile Alabama. Soon after Cleveland Nelson's capture, his brother Clinton Nelson was arrested at Alamucha, on the belief that he too was involved in the killing of Mr. Price.
On October 27, Governor Theodore Bilbo issued an extradition order that Cleveland Nelson be brought back to Meridian, MS for trial. Cleveland Nelson was later tried, found guilty and hanged for his crime:
