BROOKS, Connie Mae Reed Precious Connie was born June 19, 1956, in Los Angeles, California to John and Kay Reed. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 20, 2009, in Los Angeles, California. Connie loved life and entertained the hope of having an earthly Resurrection to a soon-to-be restored Paradise Earth, where Death, Sickness and Sorrow will be no more. (Revelation 21:4).She was our perfect daughter, so sweet, so kind, self-sacrificing, patient, talented, no words can
describe the tragedy of losing such a wonderful woman, far too soon. Her enjoyments in life were singing with that beautiful voice of hers, reading, puzzles, history and museums, the beach and being a California Girl. Connie is survived by her parents John and Kay Reed, her children Angel Brooks and Justin Brooks, two granddaughters Milan Rose and Paris Mae, her brother Robert (Renee) Reed, her cousin George Osterhaus, and one very special Auntie Jean Reed with whom she traveled with, shared a part of her life with, and whom she loved very much, along with family and friends across the country that held a very special place in Connies heart. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews Tara (Charles), Josh (Aquila), Jessica, Jasmine, Sterling, Quinlan, Ireland, and Octavious, along with her husband of 27 years Vaughn Brooks. Connie was preceded in death by her nephew Christian Liam Reed, 4 mo old of Oregon. Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 28, 2009, at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 2200 E. Ave S, Palmdale, California.
