Old Settler Called Home

Isaac Lemaster, a well known farmer citizen of the country southeast of here, died last Friday afternoon, of a kidney disorder from which he had been a sufferer for several years. He was in his 74th year and had not been able to do any work for at least a decade, but it was only three days before his death that his condition became serious enough to excite alarm.
Isaac Lemaster was one of the oldest residents of this part of the country, having come here from Ohio in 1880. For 25 ears he had lived on his farm, 3 miles west of Maple Grove, where death found him. He was the father of ten children, nine of whom, with his wife, survive him. Six of them are residents of the neighborhood, namely Clifford, Clinton, Grant, Jake, Mrs. Letitia Elliott, and Mrs. Emma Zane. A daughter, Mrs. Clara Butler, lives at San Diego, Calif., and two sons, Elmer and Isaac, live in Washington and Colorado respectively. A son, George, died of consumption in May, 1909.
The funeral services were held Sunday at Center Point church, southwest of Maple Grove, and the body was laid to rest in the Center Point cemetery.
