Mrs. Beam, 84, Dies at Rock Hill
-- Rock Hill - March 17 (Special) - Mrs. Fannie Beam, 84 m if Rock Hill, died at 7:30 tonight here at the home of her stepson, Melvin Beam, after an illness of several years. She was born and reared in South Carolina and had been living on Rock Hill for the past 30 years where she was a member of the White Street Baptist Church. She was married to Martin Beam, who died in 1940. Survivors include four stepchildren, Melvin, with whom she made her home, Johnnie of Rock Hill, Mrs. Carrie Coleman of Union and Robert Beam of Chester.
