Mrs. Annie Williams West, 81, died at her residence, 754, S. 8th West, Monday at 5 p.m. of causes incident to age.

She was born at Malvern, Worcester, England, a daughter of Edward and Polly Firkins, Williams. Mrs. West came to Salt Lake City as a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1875. She was a member of the Twenty-sixth LDS ward, formerly the fifth LDS, for 64 years. On September 23, 1884, she was married to Orson M. West in the Logan LDS temple. He died in 1916.

Survivors include two sons, N. Walter and Jesse E. West, Salt Lake City; three daughters, Mrs. Pearl Stanley, Mrs. Leva Davis and Mrs. Lillie Champneys, Salt Lake City; 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at 255-2nd East by Grant Burbidge, bishop, Twenty-sixth LDS ward. Burial will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery. Friends may call at 255-2nd East Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Thursday.
