GEORGE O. HUGHES SR., 74, of Haddonfield, formerly of Collingswood, died Sunday at West Jersey Hospital-Voorhees.
Mr. Hughes was a retired cable splicer for New Jersey Bell Telephone Co. in Camden and then in Bellmawr.
Survivors: his wife, Arlene Harman Hughes ; a son, George O. Jr. of Ocean View, Del.; a daughter, Jeanne A. Fallon of Medford; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four brothers, James Irwin, Harold, William and John, and a sister, Catharine Blazer.
Services: viewing, 10 a.m. tomorrow, Foster's Funeral Home, Haddon and Lees Avenues, Collingswood; funeral, 11 a.m. tomorrow at the funeral home; burial, Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.
