BURNETTE, Margaret Eloise Lovern, of Route 1, Dublin, passed away Thursday, August 8, 1996 in the Radford Community Hospital. Born August 27, 1930 in Pulaski County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Murray Lovern & Jessie Jordan Lovern. She was preceded in death by a brother, Oakley J. Lovern. Surviving are her husband, George Allen Burnette, Dublin; three daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Linda B.) Reed, Christiansburg, Mrs. Charles (Shirley B.) Duncan, Dublin, Wanda J. Bowyer, Radford; six grandchildren, Teri Shannon Reed, Shawn Thomas Reed, Kristie Suzanne Duncan, Tammy Rae Duncan, Margaret DeeAnna Roope, Miranda Christine Whitt; one great-granddaughter, Katelynn BreAnna Cowan; one sister, Mrs. Charles (Juanita E.) Burnette, Salem; four brothers, Robert M. Lovern of California, Charles E. Lovern, Orlando, FL, Ralph A. Lovern, Mechanicsburg, PA, Gene C. Lovern, Colorado Springs, CO. Funeral services will be held Sunday 3 p.m. at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski, with the Rev. Dr. A. Timothy Hight officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin, Va. Visiting will be anytime Saturday after 3 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday evening at the Bower Funeral Chapel, 1631 Bob White Blvd., Pulaski, Va. or anytime at the home, Route 1, Dublin, Va. Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski, is handling arrangements.
