Baptized in Great Baddow, Essex, 20 Nov 1608, son of Robert Pease (aged 27 on 30 Apr 1634). Husbandman from Great Baddow, Essex, who came to Massachusetts Bay in 1634 on the "Francis" of Ipswich. (On 30 Apr 1634, "John Pease," aged 27, with 3 children under his care, "Fayth Clearke," aged 15, "Robert Pease." aged 3, & "Darcas Greene," aged 15, was enrolled at Ipswich as a passenger for New England on the Francis. First settled in Salem; moved to Edgartown MA by 1646. Died after 25 Sep 1677.
Married (1) by 1637, Lucy ____.
(2) by about 1657, Mary ____. She married (2) by 1688 [Thomas?] Creber.
John Pease was brother of ROBERT PEASE {1635, Salem} Margaret (____) Pease, their mother, had arrived in Salem by an unknown date. Source: Anderson's Great Migration 1634-1635.


John's will was proven in 1697. It was written in 1674.

According to Find A Grave contributor Mary Jo Freeman, "Margaret Weston was his mother-in-law. His parents were:
Robert Pease "the locksmith" - 65248992 (died in England).
Margaret King Pease came to New England and died in Salem, but I don't know the cemetery."
