Pettis, both of Ione; his mother Kate Pettis, Spokane; three sisters Mildred Edwards and Evelyn Bergman, both of Spokane, Thelma Bloom, Colbert, Wash.; one brother Vern Pettis, Spokane; two grandchildren. A Veteran of WWII. A member ot the V.F.W. of Ione; Postal Workers Union. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 10, 1977 at 11 a.m. from the Ione Congregational Church. Rev. John Indermark officiating. Interment Riverside Cemetery, Ione, Wash. Family suggests that rnemoria may be made to Mt. Linton Hospital, Metaline Falls, Wash. Sherman Funeral Home, Newport, Wash.
