Rose E. Mikesell
Mrs. Rose E. MIKESELL, 79, 421 Ohio Street, died at 8:10 a.m. Saturday at Woodlawn hospital following a two-year illness.
She was born April 11, 1899 in Marshall county to Valoris and Myrtle SMITH FISHER and had lived most of her life in Rochester. She was married Sept. 15, 1917 to Lester MIKESELL, who died Aug. 30, 1965. Ms. Mikesell attended the First Church of God, Rochester.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. John (Donnabell) McGLOTHIN, Rochester; two sisters, Mrs. George (Ann) RICHARDSON and Mrs. Allee HUTCHINSON, both of Bourbon; a half-sister, Mrs. Irene BOGENWRIGHT, and a brother, Mr. Charles FISHER, both of Mentone; four grandchildren, Sondra GELLER, Dennis and Richard McGLOTHIN, all of Rochester, and Larry MIKESELL, Cookville, Tenn; ten great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild. A son, two brothers and a sister preceded in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Foster & Good funeral home with the Rev. John PHILLIPS officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery, Rochester. Friends may call between 2:30 and 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to time of service Tuesday.
