Visiting was at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday. Visiting at the funeral home, 8 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Wednesday…. Interment in Woodland Cemetery. Survived by his wife, Irene McDaniel Alford, Kentwood; two sons, Karl L. Alford Jr., East Fork and Conley Wayne Alford, Kentwood; three brothers, Wendell Alford, Long Beach, Calif., Bob Alford, Mandeville, and Ronald Alford, Denham Springs; a sister, Carol J. Bridges, Kentwood; and granddaughter, Samantha Alford, East Fork.
