Pioneer Woman Taken By Death
Located in San Jacinto Over 40 Years Ago; Member of Congregational Church
Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie D. Warner, who died at her home in Fruitvale May 31, were conducted Wednesday morning at her late residence, the Rev. H.M. Lyman conducting the service with the assistance of the Rev. A.W. Thompson and the Rev. H.V. Hartshorn. Music was furnished by Mrs. A.H. Buckley and Mrs. L.R. Mofgan. R.J. Roulston was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
The deceased was born in New Hampshire in 1853 (sic). In 1870 with her husband, she came west to Nebraska and in 1885 settled at San Jacinto. She was a charter member of the San Jacinto Congregational Church and at the time of the recent merger of that church with the Little Lake Congregational Church she was the only charter member still in the valley.
