Patsy "Pat" Maxine Duggins, 65, of Sunnyside passed away Thursday, Nov.13, 2003, in Grandview. Patsy is now in the arms of her Savior and reunited with her loving husband, Jewell.
Pat was born Feb. 18, 1938, at Belfonte, Ark., the daughter of Pauline (Pierson) and Harvey Parker. In December of 1955 she married Jewell Duggins and together they made their home in the Outlook area. In 1972 the Duggins family moved to Sunnyside. Her husband, Jewell passed away in 1997 and Pat continued to make Sunnyside her home until the time of her death.
She enjoyed camping, riding motorcycles, quilting, sewing, crocheting and crafts. She taught herself to play the organ. For each grandchild she made baby quilts and clothing. she made an endless supply of Barbie doll clothing for each of her daughters, which have been handed down to her grandchildren.
Pat is survived by one son, Rick Duggins and wife, Tina, of Sunnyside; three daughters, Debbie Yanez, ahd husband, John, and Paula Wyatt and husband, Bruce, all of Sunnyside and Marla Martin and husband, Tim of Auburn; 11 grandchildren, Ericka, Kameron, Allisa, CeCe Duggins and Laura Roy, Julia and Patrick Yanez, Katie and Keith Martin, Kraig and Ryan Wyatt; two brothers, Travis Parker and Dennis Parker, both of Granger; two sisters, Jaunita Aldridge of Oklahoma; and Ann Lively of Roosevelt.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jewell in 1997; three brothers; and two sisters.
Viewing and visitation will be held Sunday, Nov. 16, 2003, from 2 to 8 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside. Funeral services will be held Monday, Nov. 17, 2003, at 1:30 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home.
