The remains of Mr. Ambrose McKenzie, whose death occurred at his residence on Monday evening in Garrett county, several miles west of this city, after an illness of about two weeks, were brought to this place yesterday morning at nine o'clock for burial. The funeral took place from St. Michael's Catholic Church. Father Stephen J. Clark, assisted by Rev. Jos. Nolan, conducted the services. Interment was made in St. Michael's cemetery. The deceased was one of the most prominent men in Garrett county and was well known here. He was seventy years old at the time of his death, and is survived by his wife and a number of children, all of Garrett county. A large concourse of people attended the funeral.
