Fairy Helen Corona passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at the age of 79.
Daughter of William and Nora Land, she was born in Kings City, MO. In 1941, Fairy moved to CA with her family and settled Hollister. She attended Hollister High and graduated with the class of 1947.
She is survived by her children Jack (Lupe) Corona, Richard (Joanne) Corona, of Gilroy, Frances (Frank) Coelho of Lemoore, Ted Corona of San Jose, and Nancy Blum of Lemoore, 11 grandchildren; Damien, Luke, Christopher, Matthew, Richard, David, Johnathan Corona, Julie Coelho, Savannah, Lorna, Dalton Blum, and several great- grandchildren, brothers Bob Land of Gonzales and Dale Land of Oregon, numerous nieces, nephews, brother and sister-in laws.
Proceeded in death by her husband Octavio "Toby" Frederick Corona, brother Charles, sister Georgia, and sister in law Beatrice Corona.
She was a devoted mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved cooking, family, and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be missed by those closest to her.
Funeral Mass held at St. Mary's Catholic Church and burial followed at St. Mary's Cemetery. Services provided by: Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy, CA.
