Freddie Neal Harelson, 64, of Martin, died Saturday, May 2, 2009, at his residence.

Services were held 2 p.m. Monday at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel in Dresden with Ellis Robinson officiating. Burial was in East Side Cemetery in Martin. Steven Winston, Kenneth Winston, Greg Winston, John Tuck, Travis Winston, and Michael McKnight served as pallbearers and escorted to cemetery by The Patriot Guard Riders.

Harelson was born in Union City, son of the late Brownie and Daymon VanCleave Harelson. He was a disabled veteran, truck driver, and a member of Gardner Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Lee Nooner Harelson of Martin; one daughter, Michelle Moore of Dresden; one son, Wayne Harelson of Crossville; four step sons, David Winston and Steven Winston, both of Martin, Kenneth Winston of Dresden and Greg Winston of Sharon; one sister, Martha Crawford of Martin; two brothers, Tommy Harelson of Elizabethtown, Ky, and James Harelson of Martin; 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
