Mrs. Cornwell, 67, was an employee in the alterations department at the store. She had been spending a brief Christmas holiday with her sister.
She was born at Terrell, but spent most of her life in Dallas. Her home was at 2410 North Prairie.
Survivors besides the Lake Dallas sister include another sister, Mrs. John Taylor; and a brother; James C. Bouldin, both of Dallas.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Weiland-Merritt Funeral Church, 2909 Live Oak. Dr. L. C. Craig of North Dallas Baptist Church will officiate. Mrs. Cornwell will be buried in Crown Hill Memorial Park.
