Services Planned For H. B. Seavers

Rosary will be read this evening at 8 o'clock in the F. D. Sweet & Son Funeral chapel for Herbert Byron Seavers, prominent northern Glenn county grain and sheep man, who died at his farm home late Tuesday afternoon. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning at the Catholic church, with Fr. A. J. Dosh in charge, and burial will be in the Catholic cemetery.
Herbert Byron Seavers was born at San Ramon, Contra Costa county, November 21 1879. He came to the Orland area with his parents in 1890 and has been located here for the past 60 years.
Surviving the deceased are his wife, Mrs. Viola M. Seavers, and four children: Joseph B. Seavers of Orland, Donald Seavers of Eureka, Mrs. Virginia Donaldson of Orland and Mrs. Katherine Powell of Sacramento. Four sisters and one brother also survive. They are: Mrs. Geneva Frautschi of Kirkwood, Mrs. Caroline O'Connell of Stockton, Mrs. Ann Stover of Eureka, Mrs. Alice Young of Oakland and Albert Seavers of Vallejo. - Transcribed by E.
