Mr. Sam Bowen (sic), an old and highly respected citizen of this district, died at his home near Mooresville on Friday. Mr. Bowen reached an advanced age and held the confidence and respect of
all who knew him. He was buried at Gilvo cemetery where many
friends assembled to pay their last tribute of respect.
