Ruth Nelson, 89, 5401 Ogden Ave., died Sunday, March 28, 1999, in the Villa-Marina Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born Feb. 13, 1910, in Superior and was a lifelong city resident. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her husband, Robert A.; a sister, Hildur Skemp, Superior; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Phillip Dorner.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Downs Funeral Home, where visitation will be that day from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Pastor Robert Stoskopf of Our Savior's Lutheran Church will officiate. Interment will be in the family lot in Graceland Cemetery.
