YUMA, Va., Jan. 3. - Funeral services for Mrs. Letitia Spurgeon Haynes Darter, 86, were conducted today at 4 p.m. at the home here with Rev. McKay and Rev. G. C. Coldiron, officiating.Interment was in the Yuma cemetery.Mrs. Darter died at her home here yesterday. She was the daughter of Captain and Mrs. J. S. Haynes and a member of the Baptist church. One sister, Mrs. H. H. Taylor, survives.She was married February 17, 1870, to Hiram Darter, and to this union were born ten children, six of whom survive; Virginia Freeman, Tennessee Falin, Helen Shumaker, Edwin, Isabel Gilley, Mary Davidson, Cleveland Haynes Weaver, Peter Haynes, William Smith and Frances Darter.
