Services Held for Mrs. Ed. Remboldt
Mrs. Edward C. Remboldt, 52, resident of the Gackle community died early Friday morning, March 3, 1967 at the Ashley Hospital in Ashley, North Dakota, where she had been a patient for one week.

Eva Aichle was born January 19, 1915 at the family farm 5 miles northeast of Tuttle in Kidder County, N.D., the daughter of John Aichle (sic) and Maria Nitschke Aichle. She attended the local rural school and grew to womanhood on her parents farm. She and Martin Gillig were married August 25, 1934 at Goodrich, North Dakota, where he worked as a laborer. Between the years 1941 and 1950 the family lived at Sykeston and Cathay, N.D. In 1950 the family moved to New Rockford, N.D. On August 26, 1960, she and Edward C. Remboldt were married at Jamestown, N.D. They made their home at the family farm 2 1/2 miles north east of Gackle in Stutsman County. In the fall of 1966 they moved into Gackle.

She is survived by her husband, four children, Donna (Mrs. Elmer Pepple) Sioux Falls, S.D.; Irene (Mrs. Ralph Duursma) Carrington, N.D.; Carl Gillig, in the U. S. Air Force at Ft. Warren, Wyo.; Linda (Mrs. Keith Morlock) Bordulac, N.D.; seven grandchildren, four stepchildren, Clyde Remboldt, Gackle, Clayton Remboldt, and Arlene (Mrs. Lloyd Veil) both of Streeter, Twyla Remboldt, Rugby, N.D., five brothers, William Aichle, Adam Aichle, Richmond, Calif., John Aichle, Tuttle, N.D., Henry Aichle, Robinson, N.D.; Fred Aichle, Rogers, N.D.; two sisters (Mrs. Pauline Spitzer), Sykeston, N.D.; Elizabeth (Mrs. Jake Rath) Tuttle, N.D.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers in infancy, one sister, a stepchild, Kevin Remboldt in 1963.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday March 8, 1967 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Gackle with Pastor Samuel Reille officiating and Pastor Edward Kanna assisting.
Burial was in the Gackle Cemetery at Gackle, N.D., The body was at the Haut Funeral Home in Gackle.
