Florence Walden Jones died ___ 1954 at the home of her mother after a long illness. Funeral services were held at Stensel Funeral Home with Rev. Fred R. Harrold and Dr. A. A. Belyea in charge; burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery.
She was born in DeWitt County to Robert T. and Belle Helmick Walden. She was married to A. M. Jones July 15, 1914.
Surviving are her mother; two sisters: Ada Carter of Pontiac; and Ethel Rueger of this city; and one brother, Vernelle (Bob) Walden of this city; and a foster son, Willis Ray Jones of Peoria.
She was a member of the Farmer City Methodist Church, Louie Chapter 155 Order of the Eastern Star and Iantha Rebekah Lodge 413 of Farmer City.
Casket bearers were Cash McMurphy, Jack Meredith, Okie Gibbs, Dr. F. R. Stoughton, Marshall Jones and Ellis Leischner. Flower bearers were Mrs. Nile Mitchell, Mrs. Harry Struebing, Mrs. Wilbur Forbes, Jean Herrick, Mrs. Ralph Stagen, Mrs. Percy Weldon, Mrs. Dean Lowman and Mrs. Fred Harrold.
