Devoted brother of Joseph Podracky of Baltimore, Elizabeth Malecki of Old Forge, Pennsylvania and the late Mary Laurnezi. Also survived by five grandchildren. [Patricia, Charles, Jr., Kenneth, Barbara and Ronald Smeton]

Christian Wake Services will be held at the Bernard Dabrowski Funeral Home, 2818 East Baltimore street on Thursday at 8.30 P.M. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth Church on Friday at 10 A.M. Interment in Gardens of Faith Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. Scranton, Pennsylvania papers please copy.

A mass of Christian burial for John A. Podracky, a grocery store owner, will be offered at 10 A.M. tomorrow at St. Elizabeth's Church, 2638 East Baltimore street.

Mr. Podracky, who was 64 and lived at 7405 South road, died Monday at Bon Secours Hospital after a short illness.

He was born and educated in Old Forge, Pa. He had been a coal miner there before coming to Baltimore in the late 1930's. In Baltimore, he owned and operated Podracky's Food Market, at 101 North Decker avenue, for nearly 35 years.

He was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Elizabeth's Church and a member of the parish Brotherhood. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Council and the Charles Carroll of Carrollton Assembly of the Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Dundalk Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, the former Elizabeth N. [M.] Shimo; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Smeton, of Baltimore county; a brother, Joseph Podracky, of Baltimore county; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Malecki, of Old Forge, and five grandchildren.
