Wanda L. Boggs, 79, of Mansfield, went home to be with her Lord Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at North Central Ohio Hospice in Ashland.

Born March 29, 1930 in Iron Hill, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Floyd Baker and Prudie Baker Murphy. She retired as a clerk from J.C. Penney. Wanda was a member of the Abundant Life Tabernacle. The highlight of her life was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed family gatherings, sewing, crocheting, crafts, and gardening.

She is survived by one daughter, Joyce (Edgil "Leon") Hall of Ontario; four sons, Donald (Gwen) Boggs, Michael (Cathy) Boggs, Franklin (Jennifer) Boggs, all of Texas City, Texas, and Franklin (Gina) Boggs, Jr. of Galion; grandchildren, Brian (Stephanie) Hall, Kimberly (David) Chandler, David (Missy) Boggs, Steven Boggs, Dee Dee Trager, Petty Officer Third Class Katherine Chamber, Michelle (Sidney) Sliger, Seaman Christopher Boggs, Chad Boggs, Monica Cline, and T.J. Boggs; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles (Pat) Murphy of Mansfield, Fred (Deloris) Murphy, and Ora Lee Murphy, all of Grayson, Kentucky; and sisters, Violet Johnson of Delaware, Ohio; Letha Griffith, and Betty (Jerry) Craighead, all of Mansfield.

She was preceded in death in 2004 by her husband, Ora S. Boggs; her parents; brothers, Clifford, Bill, Chester, Arthur, Elliott, Elijah, and Preston Baker, William Murphy, and Milton Ray Murphy; and sisters, Florie, Grace, and Lucy Baker, and Linda Murphy.
