REIDSVILLE - Edmond Letcher “Pete” Anderson, 70, of Rt. 8 died early Thursday at Duke Hospital in Durham.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Brooke Funeral Home Chapel in Stokesdale with the Rev. John Gordon officiating. Burial will be at New Hope Baptist Church near North Wilkesboro.

He was a retired farmer and had lived in the Sharon Church community in Rockingham County 12 years.

Surviving are daughter, Mrs. Lois Ford of Rt. 1, Belews Creek; son, J. L. Anderson of Rt. 8, Reidsville; six grandchildren.

The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. today.
