Also surviving are one daughter, Tresa Turpin of Mitchell, IN; seven brothers: Wayne Pridemore of Norman, IN, Kenneth Pridemore of Camby, IN, Marvin Pridemore of Green Castle, IN, Michael Pridemore of Georgia, Roy Pridemore of Indianapolis, Charles Pridemore of Greensburg, IN, and Stanley Pridemore of Mooresville, IN; five sisters: Eva Garrison, Mary Jane Pace, and Helen Ackerman, all of Mitchell, IN, Lois Johnson of SanDiego, CA, and Cathlene Caceres of Chicago, IL; one grandson, three step-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, Leon, Henry, Ronald, James, Harold, and Clarence Pridemore; and two sisters: Carolyn Anderson and Juanita Pridemore.
He was an Air Force veteran, stationed in Japan, and was a mechanical technician, retired from Naval Surface Warfare Center-Crane. He was a member of New Union Christian Church.
Services for Winfred Pridemore will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 22nd, at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens with graveside military rites accorded by members of the American Legion Gillen Post No. 33, Bedford.
