BERTHA ROMAIN MULL, biological daughter of Charles Mull and Carrie OGLINE, Bertha being their only child out of wed-lock. Bertha was raised from an infant by her mother anf afew years later by a very loving & caring step-father John Garfield KIMMEL that was her only true father.

WIFE & MOTHER: Berta married Horrace Edwin Roberts, s/o John & Lecirtiria (WHITFORD) Roberts from Somerset County, PA. Horrace would die four (4) days after his wife Bertha in the same (Siermons Lakeview Manor Estates) Nursing Home where they both resided in Berlin, Somerset County, Pa.

Bertha R. Roberts, 85, Somerset RD 2, formerly of Acosta, died March 14, 1988, in the Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate. Born Sept. 17,1902 in Jenner Township, daughter of the late Charles and Carrie (Ogline) Mull. Survived by husband, Horace E. Roberts, Somerset RD 2, and these children; Herbert E., Chattanooga, Tenn., Mrs. Leroy (Eleanor) Ash, Somerset RD 2, and Mrs. James (Eyleen) Biestel, Tampa, Fla., and two grandchildren, Tammy and Alan Ash. Sister of Mrs. Edna Brant, Addison; Mrs. Agnes Little, Somerset RD 7; George Kimmel, Acosta; Mrs. Guy J. (Nellie) Long, Berlin RD 1; Mrs. Ed (Blanche) Fatula, Cleveland, Ohio; Milo J. Kimmel and Mrs. Annabelle Lottig, both of Friedens RD 1. Member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, Boswell,
Acosta Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and VFW Post 554 Auxiliary. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home where service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday. Rev. Roy A. Worsham officiating. Interment, Edie Cemetery.
