GALESBURG - Anna Lee Trout, 76, rural Galesburg, died Wednesday, August 6, 2003, at her home.
She was born Sept. 18, 1926, in Parsons, the daughter of Forrest O. and Ina Dell Dyson Trammell.
She grew up and attended schools in Parsons, graduating from Parsons High School in 1944 and from Parsons Junior College in 1946.
She was a homemaker and worked on the family farm.
She was a member of the Otterbein United Brethren Church, where she taught vacation Bible school.
She enjoyed visiting local nursing homes and counseling at summer church camps. She also enjoyed working with animals.
On March 2, 1947, she married Earl Rand Trout at the United Brethren Church, Parsons. He survives.
Other survivors include a son, Randy Trout, rural Cherryvale; two daughters, Jan King, Valparaiso, Ind., and Keri Lee, Alto, Mich.; a sister, Keitha Chew, Atchison; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jon Kimery Trout, and an infant brother, Joe Trammell.
Private graveside services were held Aug. 8 at Valley Cemetery. A memorial services was also held Aug. 8 at the Otterbein United Brethren Church, led by the Rev. Stuart Willis.
