He was the son of Charles Alva and Clara (Barnes) Crandell. He was an avid outdoorsman, hunter, fisherman, who loved guns. Bob was very conservative and a strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jerry, Phillip, Roger & Tom; sister, Patricia Moore. Survivors include his wife, Shirley; 3 sons, Kenneth Wayne Crandell of Broken Arrow, OK, Michael Eugene Crandell of Poteau, OK & David Forrest Crandell of Tulsa, OK; 6 Grandchildren, Angela, Rebecca , Sarah, Danielle, Joshua & Christina Crandell; 1 Great Grandchild, Ryan Kenneth Turner; 2 sisters, Emma Burch of St. Worth, TX & Judy Tackett of Albion, Michigan; 2 brothers, Don Crandell of Moore, OK & Larry Crandell of Poteau, OK; other relatives & loved ones; many beloved friends. Services are 2 pm Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau,OK with Rev. Bill Donaldson officiating. Interment will follow in Ellis Chapel Cemetery, Wister, OK. Pallbearers will be Kenneth, Michael, David, Larry & Don Crandell and Jim Guinn.
