Moved with her family and parents, Adolph and Mary Bernauer when she was 6 years old to Muenster, Texas; married Lawrence W. Flusche in Muenster on May 1, 1928. The family moved to Decatur in January of 1937. She was a homemaker, a talented musician and a piano teacher and for more than 30 years was church organist for her parish. They had daughters Mariana, Della, and Joanne; 9 grandchildren and 5 greatgrandchildren.
