Erie Thomas Binam, aged 75, of Harrison, died Saturday, June 9 at Springdale Memorial Hospital, Springdale, Arkansas.

He was born April 25, 1915 at Delmar a son of Charlie and Ellen Thomas Binam. He was a farmer and a resident of Boone County for 40 years. He attended the Batavia Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include his wife, Irene Terherst Binam of the home; three sons, Melvin and Alvin Binam, both of Harrison an Jim Binam, DeWitt; a daughter, Rosemary Kautz, Booneville; four brothers, Carl Binam and Loy Binam, both of Harrison, Roy Binam of Alpena and Neil Binam of California; a sister, Lena Haynes, California; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 12 at Christeson Funeral Home with the Rev. Tollie Sutterfield officiating. Burial was in the Maplewood Cemetery under the direction of Christeson Funeral Home of Harrison.

Pallbearers included Leotis Etchison, James Flippo, Lonnie Rogers, Robert Allen, Dennis Selvidge and Robert Villines.

Visitation was from 7-8 p.m. Monday at Christeson Funeral Home in Harrison, Arkansas
