Mrs. Oma May Ratcliff, 87, of Jefferson Township died Friday at the St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove. She had been confined to the hospital for one week.
The daughter of George and Ella Baldwin Dunagan, she was born in Morgan County on May 9, 1889. She was married to John Ratcliff who preceded her in death.
A lifelong resident of Morgan County, she was a member of Hynsdale Christian Church, Home Economics Club and the Farm Bureau Association.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Fields of Martinsville and Mrs Ruth Bowers of Indianapolis; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son and one daughter. Also surviving are one brother, Everett Dunagan and one sister, Mrs. Vernie Scott, both of Martinsville.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday morning at 11 o'clock at the Neal and Summers Chapel with the Rev. Fred Sharp and the Rev. Jeanne D. Groom officiating. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call at the mortuary Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 4 until 9 o'clock.
