Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the Memorial Funeral Home Chapel for Paul L. Cook, 78, of 21 Third Ave., who died Monday at the Boone County Hospital after an illness of several months. Dr. Arthur Fulbright, Wilkes Blvd. United Methodist Chruch, will conduct the service. Burial will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Cook was born Dec. 6, 1892, in Boone County to the late (James) Thomas and Maggie A. (Cook) Cook. He was married to the former Ethel Lawrence on March 31, 1917. Mr. Cook was a farmer and a carpenter most of his life. He was a member of the Woodlandville Methodist Church. Survivors other than his wife include two sons, James Cook, Route 8, and Paul Cook, Jr., Wright City; three daughters, Mrs. Vencil Snell, Rocheport, Mrs. Robert Freese, Fenton, and Mrs. William Kelleher, St. Johns; and one sister, Mrs. Mattie Warren, Alberta Canada, eighteen grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
