Harrison Leroy PARTRIDGE, 55, of 1620 Monroe St., died at 9:32 a.m. Sunday (March 1, 1981) in Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie, where he had been a patient since Friday. He had been in failing health for the last 1 1/2 years.
He was born May 28, 1925 in Newcastle Township to Earl and Faye WYNN PARTRIDGE and had lived in this area except for 15 years in Montpelier. He married the former Florence GUYER, who survives. He was a former employee of Indiana Metal and retired in February 1980 as manager of Gripco in Montpelier. He was a member of the Macy Christian Church, the Manitou Moose Lodge in Rochester and the Elks Lodge at Columbia City.
Surviving with the wife are a daughter, Diane BITNER, Indianapolis; three sons, Gary and Terry [PARTRIDGE], Bellville, Mich., and Roger [PARTRIDGE], Boulder, Col.; two grandsons; two brothers, Levoy [PARTRIDGE], Logansport, and Eli [PARTRIDGE], Indian Rocks Beach, Fa., and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Foster & Good Funeral Home with the Rev. Sam CARLTON officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-9 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until time of services Wednesday. Memorials other than flowers may be made to the Heart Fund.
